About this spot
Termon Beach is a small sheltered sandy beach, located on the east coast of the Blacksod Mullet Peninsula approx 0.5km south of Aghleam village Co Mayo. The beach is an ecologically important area as it forms part of the Blacksod Bay Broadhaven Special Protection Area (SPA), the Mullet Blacksod Bay Complex candidate Special Area of Conservation (cSAC) and the Mullet Blacksod proposed National Heritage Area (pNHA).
